Why breathable properties depend on hydrophobicity
Waterproof breathable clothing will most likely get out and moisten inside when it will be used in places where moisture has. If the outer layer absorbs water, the clothing may lose up to 70% of its breathing properties. Therefore, to ensure convenience, it is necessary to maintain a permanent hydrophobicity (DWR impregnation) of the jacket. Nikwax Tech Wash® will revive DWR, and thus - the properties of breathing your clothing.
Use the Nikwax Tech Wash® measure when your waterproof clothing and equipment cans water
Waterproof clothing and equipment can absorb water, because the durable hydrophobicity (DWR) has been weakened by dirt, or because they were cleaned with conventional detergents. The dirt attracts water, and home detergents leave the water-catching sludge (hydrophilic), which makes the fabric when used in places where moisture is used.
Use NIKWAX TECH WASH® in the washing machine
Before laundering in Tech Wash®, you must remove persistent dirt using a sponge or nylon toothbrush. Delete all elements not fit for washing. Shake before use. Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use detergents.
Remove any residual powder from the dispenser.
Place clothing in the washing machine, dramatically not more than 2 clothing.
