The filter should be cleaned with a high-pressure garden hose; if dirt remains visible, the filter should be replaced with a new one (replacement is recommended every two weeks). Make sure to disconnect the pump from the power source before replacing.

The Intex 29000 Type A Filter is compatible with Intex pumps numbered: 28603, 28604, 28637, 28638, 28635, 28636, 28673, and 28674.

How to Replace the Filter:

  • Step 1: Unscrew the top cover of the pump
  • Step 2: Remove the seal and filter cover
  • Step 3: Replace the cartridge
